Stacy M. Bess

Stacy M. Bess (née Bellefeuille), 41, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on June 29, 2026, in Libertyville, Illinois. She was born on March 10, 1985, in Libertyville and was a longtime resident of Round Lake. Stacy graduated from Mundelein High School with the Class of 2003. In October 2006, she met the love of her life, Brian Bess. They were married on February 3, 2009, and shared a loving partnership built on unwavering devotion through life's joys and challenges. Brian often reflected that he first fell in love with Stacy's confident, strong, and beautiful personality—qualities that remained with her throughout her life. A devoted Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan, Stacy graciously tolerated her husband's lifelong loyalty to the Green Bay Packers. She had a creative spirit and enjoyed making plastic canvas crafts, collecting Cherished Teddies, and had a special fondness for turtles. She also loved watching Law & Order and Criminal Minds, and nothing brought her greater joy than celebrating Christmas and birthdays with family and friends. Throughout her career, Stacy worked in a variety of customer service positions. In 2020, she proudly completed the Funeral Service Education Program through Stratford Career Institute and looked forward to pursuing a career in funeral service. Although her plans were interrupted by the health challenges she faced with remarkable courage, she never lost her strength, determination, or sense of hope. Stacy will be remembered for her larger-than-life personality, infectious sense of humor, generous heart, and the love she shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. She is survived by her beloved husband of 17 years, Brian Bess; her mother, Linda (Raymond) Beltran; her brothers, Mike (Sally) Beltran and their son, Matteo, Raymond Beltran Jr., and Steven Beltran; her brothers-in-law, Germaine Bess and Anthony Bess; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Stacy was preceded in death by her father, Julian Galindo; her grandparents, Richard and Alice Bellefeuille; her mother-in-law, Ramona Bess; and her uncle, Oscar Beltran. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Integrated Palliative & Hospice Care in Libertyville for the exceptional care and kindness they provided during Stacy's final days.
