Marcelline J. Wolf III

Marcelline Jean Wolf, III (nee Gravot), of Gurnee, formerly of Grayslake, went to her place in heaven at the age of 83. After a brief illness, Marcie peacefully passed away at Advocate Condell Hospital, Libertyville, IL on February 12, 2019. Marcie was born on June 16, 1935 in East St. Louis, IL. She was the eldest daughter of Alfred J. (Red) and Anna Marie (Cook) Gravot. After graduating from Notre Dame Academy in Belleville, IL, she worked for a number of years at Union Electric Company in East St. Louis. Later, she worked transcribing medical records for the Chief Pathologist at Saint Mary's Hospital in East St. Louis. Marcie moved to Lake County, IL later in life to be closer to her family. Marcelline was the widow of Albert J. (Sonny) Wolf III. She was preceded in death by her parents, her younger brother, Kenneth J. Gravot, and her brother-in-law, John E. (Jack) Partelow, Sr. She is survived by her sister Lorena L. (Jack) Partelow, and her son Timothy M. (Lynn) Wolf-Lewis. She was a loving grandmother to Kiri A. (Kevin) Barker, Alicia M. (Frank) Camp, and Shawn M. (Emily) Wolf-Lewis. She was blessed to be the great-grandmother to Alana and Averi Barker, and the aunt to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rte. 176-one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) Libertyville.
