William "Bill" Bruce Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William G. “Bill” Bruce, 89, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born April 11, 1933 in Lee County, IL and had been a Libertyville-Mundelein area resident for most of his life. He was a 1951 graduate of LHS, attended IL State University and was a graduate of Lake Forest College School of Management. He was a member of the Community Protestant Church in Mundelein and Bill and his wife made many memories traveling across the USA in their 5th wheel. He was also a former employee of the Frank G. Hough-International Harvester Corporation. Surviving are 4 children, Curtis (Nancy) Bruce, Carrie (Gary) Miller, Don (Diane) Bruce and Katherine (Steve) Azzato; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; his brother, David (Barbara) Bruce and Sister-in-law, Kay Bruce. He was preceded in death by his wife Joanne Bruce in 2020, by his great grandson Liam Gurvis and brother Robert. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of a service at l:00 pm Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) Libertyville.
