Terry Sullivan, 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19th, 2022 at his home surrounded by family. He was born December 22nd, 1949 in Chicago, and moved to Libertyville in 1976. Terry was a true artist and craftsman as both a passion and career, restoring and improving people’s homes to places of beauty, function, and warmth. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, enjoyed boating, fishing, and all things outdoors, as well as cooking and entertaining. He had a gift relating to all types of people and revered life no matter how hard it got. Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Mary Albrecht; his daughter Meagan Sullivan (Jacob Kluwe) and grandson Willow; his sister Mary Kay (the late Jim) Ellman; his niece Lisa Terrazino; and his nephews Jim and Mike Ellman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Marian Sullivan, his brother Dan, and dozens of animals he rescued and loved throughout his lifetime. Visitation will be from 11:00am until time of services at 1:00pm Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048 (Route 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave). Lunch and cocktails to follow at 2:00pm, Café Pomigliano, 160 E. Cook Ave, Libertyville, IL 60048.
