Shirley S. Ford, 86, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in Libertyville. She was born July 17, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio, was formerly of Evanston and a Libertyville resident until 2017 and Vernon Hills since 2019. Shirley was a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and taught school for several years before becoming a real estate administrative assistant in Evanston. Surviving are 4 children, Thomas (Tamie) Ford, Jack (Anita) Ford, David Ford and Susie (John) Durning; 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Ford in 2017. Private services for her family are being held at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home in Libertyville. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
