Rita Ann Zorc

January 26, 1932 - February 1, 2022

Rita Ann Zorc, 90, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022 in Libertyville. She was born Jan. 26, 1932 in Freeport, IL and had been a Libertyville resident for the past 59 years. She was a former employee of the photography department at Great Lakes Naval Base, was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville and dearly loved spending time with her family. Her favorite past time was fishing with family and friends for the past 65 years on the Wolf River in Fremont, WI. Surviving are 4 children, Rita (John) Dietz, Larry Zorc, Barbara (Jerry) Newcomer and Linda Dudasik; 9 Grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Christy, Heidi, Robin, Jessica, Jennifer Melissa and Emily; 8 Great Grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, Julian, Nicole, Aviana, Logan, Thomas and Madison. She was preceded in death by her husband James Zorc and by her parents, Marion and Lawrence Shaffar. `Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Friday, Feb. 11 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) Libertyville. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 am Sat. Feb. 12, 2022 at St. Joseph Church, 121 E.
