Nancy S. Bloomer

December 17, 1944 - December 26, 2021

Nancy S. Bloomer, 77, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at her home in Libertyville, IL. She was born December 17, 1944 in Lancaster, Ohio and had been a resident of Libertyville for the past 40 years. Nancy graduated with a Bachelors degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, served as an executive assistant for the mayor of Libertyville as well as the village administrator and was a member and former secretary for First Presbyterian Church in Libertyville. Nancy enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Town & Country Garden Club. She also enjoyed reading, bridge, golf and most of all getting together with her dearest friends for their book club, breakfast club and happy hour celebrations. Surviving is her daughter, Kathryn (Scot) Easterday; 2 grandchildren, Emily and Grace; dear nephew, Richard “D.J.” White, many other nieces and nephews and also will be missed by her affectionate loyal cat, Olivia. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Doris White and Betty Young. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church, 219 W. Maple Ave. in Libertyville. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. in Libertyville.
