Michael S. Mobile, 92, passed away on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021 in Bradenton, Florida. He was born June 19, 1929 in Rondout, IL and was a graduate of Libertyville High School. Mike lived most of his adult life in Libertyville, where he was a maintenance engineer in machinery repair and moved to Bradenton in 2004, where he enjoyed working in his yard, walking his dog and having family and friends come to visit. Surviving are 3 children, Georgia Nissen, Debbie (Steve) Richards and Ken Mobile; 4 Grandchildren, Natalie (Bill) Peterson, Cassandra (Kelly) Rood, Chrissy (Ron) Marek and Ben (Siobhan) Richards; 6 Great Grandchildren, Lindsey, Ashley, Dylan, Marty, Aaron and Jake. One great grandson, Connor. He was preceded in death by his son Chris Mobile. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Monday, Nov. 1, 2021 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) Libertyville. Prayers will be at 10 am Tuesday, Nov. 2 at the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple Ave. Libertyville with interment following at Ascension Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
