Connie Chominski

Connie Chominski, 64, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 in Henderson, Nevada. She was born August 8, 1957 in Oak Park, IL, was raised in Chicago, where she was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for girls and a Libertyville resident for 40 years. Connie was a former employee at First National Bank of Chicago, a former life insurance agent for Trans leasing International, Inc. in Northbrook, IL and taught numerous sewing classes at the Sewing Source in Lake Villa. Connie was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville, where she was also a member of the Women’s Guild. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and had a great love of cats. Surviving is her husband of 40 years, Paul Chominski; sisters, Alice Moraetes and Kimberly (Aaron) Dzielak; nephew, Rich Fields; many loving family members and also her beloved cats, Sadie & Autumn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy & Evelyn Fields and by her brother, Rick Fields. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple Ave. Libertyville, IL. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176, one block west of Milwaukee Ave.) in Libertyville. Entombment will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, National Kidney Foundation or a mass at St. Joseph Church in her name.
